Meet the Character in Lena Learns the World
Lena is an eleven-year-old who's totally fearless and curious about everything in the world. Growing up in Arkansas, you better mind your manners and the directness with her questions along with no problem expressing her opinion are taken as being sassy!
How is she gonna learn unless she ask? Right!
Lena is brought to life on the book cover by the author's husband, Chester Johnson Jr. of CeeJay Productions. The illustrations in the book are helpful to the storytelling experience. It allows the readers to connect more deeply with the characters and their journeys making the reading experience truly relatable.
